‘After joining the club I feel that I have become energetic and have changed’, Neetu, player and leader of Harkesh Nagar Netball Club says. Joining the club, also impacted her studies positively. Her concentration level has increased and she has scored higher marks than earlier i.e. from 49% (8th) to 56% (9th). She considers that her newly gained confidence, the physical skills she learned by playing netball and being a leader in the club are important elements to her current and future success. She is confident that she will be able to convince her father and brother to continue her education, become a CSC and get a job in the future.
From the enrolment in the club, Neetu, has been a regular player at the Harkesh Nagar Netball club. Soon, she was elected as its secretary. In her role she learned how speak in front of everyone and lead the members. She encourages other players to attend the practices regularly and has brought many of her friends to the club. She proudly shares that her neighbor, after seeing the changes in her, also wanted to know how their daughter can join.
